Ryan Wilson created the original graphite-on-paper illustration to commemorate our semester abroad in French Polynesia at Gump Station on Mo’orea, which I scanned and refined into a digital illustration. It was used for the back cover of our research paper compilation, which is catalogued in the UC Berkeley Bioscience Library for the Moorea 2009 class. I also modified this design to be produced as t-shirts.
